Pony Project Notes

When I asked my sister what she wanted for her birthday, she noted that she could tell she was growing older because her list included home improvement products, instead of say, a pony. So I made her a pony.

Finished product to show construction (I LOVE the way the head and neck turned out.) 🙂 Yes, that is a rubber chicken in the background.

Quick and Dirty Construction Notes:

Materials:

  • 1 ball DMC “Senso Metallics” crochet thread in gold
  • 1 ball DMC “Senso Metallics” crochet thread in black 

 Make a circle till the butt is big enough.

Continue to sc in spirals till you feel the body is long enough, and you want to start the neck.

STUFF AS YOU GO!

Dec on bottom of neck and inc on top of neck to move opening upwards, narrowing opening as necessary.

Ears – ch 4, sl st, sc, sl st, sc in same space in the head.

Make sure you stitch in front of the ears the next round.
