ND State Horticulture Annual Conference

The annual State Horticulture Conference begins tomorrow in Jamestown, with tours of the Fruit and Berry research at the Carrington extension research facility, info sessions on fruit production, landscape irrigation, herbs, trees and shrubs, and several local gardening tours. The Horticulture Society is remarkably absent from the Web — I only found out about the conference three weeks ago, as the Master Gardener class mailing list included a short blurb about it. I’m glad I did though — there’s no excuse for not going to something as neat as this if it’s actually in the state. Hopefully I can get some useful info for my collection, plus some in-town contacts for future practice.
